The School of Information and Physical Sciences (SIPS)  is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Solar and/or Stellar Physics to work in the Discipline of Physics, with the opportunity to contribute to the Centre for Space Physics.

Category: Academic, Level B (Lecturer)
Base Salary:$117,226 – $139,207 plus 17% superannuation
Position: Full-time, fixed term (18 months, until end of February 2027)
Location:Callaghan Campus

The successful candidate will have:
* A PhD in Physics or equivalent relevant field.
* Demonstrated recent experience in an academic role delivering results in research and innovation, teaching and learning, and service and engagement.
* Strong research track record (relative to opportunity) in an area relevant to Solar and Stellar Physics.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to participate in a team environment demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect.
