On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am pleased to invite you to lecture at the Summer School “Machine Learning in Solar and Planetary Research”, organized by the Space Research and Technology Institute – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (SRTI-BAS) in collaboration with the Europlanet Early Career Network (EPEC) and the Europlanet Machine Learning (ML) Working Group.

The school will take place on 16–18 September 2026 in Primorsko, on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, and will focus on core machine learning techniques applied to solar and planetary research. It is addressed to early career researchers – students and scientists within seven years of their degree – from across Europe and beyond.

Given your leading work, a lecture or hands-on workshop from you would be a highlight of the program and of great value to the participants. Contributions may range from an overview lecture to a practical tutorial or a presentation of your latest developments in the field.

If you are interested, we kindly ask you to register as a lecturer via the short form below: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfOvRb3hx7VYMmILJlYopL-DzDJLwOPtZ-JoOL97MoT9CQnHw/viewform?usp=header<

Further details about the school are available on the Europlanet website: https://www.europlanet.org/early-careers-network/machine-learning-in-solar-and-planetary-research/

For any questions regarding the program, format, or logistics, please feel free to contact me directly or write to the school’s address at [email protected].

We would be delighted to discuss a topic and format that best suits your availability.

We very much hope you will be able to join us in Primorsko and share your expertise with the next generation of researchers in the field.
