The appointment is initially for one year, with the possibility of renewal for one additional year, contingent upon the availability of funding and mutual satisfaction. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
By the start date, applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D. in physics, astrophysics, space physics, or a closely related field. The successful candidate should have experience in analyzing solar data, a solid understanding of basic solar physics, plasma physics, and radiative transfer, and working knowledge of Python in Linux and/or macOS environments. Experience with radio interferometry and synthesis imaging is desirable but not required.
