The Centre for Fusion, Space and Astrophysics within the Department of Physics at the University of Warwick are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to undertake research in the fields of helioseismology and asteroseismology. Our primary aim is to understand solar cycle variations in the excitation of acoustic oscillations by combining observations of solar and stellar p modes and high frequency pseudomodes with theory. We are looking for someone with a PhD in Physics (or similar) and a proven track record of research in solar or stellar physics, ideally with experience in helioseismology and/or asteroseismology.
