NSF-NOAA GONG Farside Helioseismic Mapping Project: Release of Upgraded Data Products

The National Science Foundation’s (NSF’s) Global Oscillation Network Group (GONG) has released upgraded data products generated by the improved farside helioseismic mapping pipeline (https://farside.nso.edu).  The upgrade incorporates major workflow enhancements, resolves long‑standing issues, and introduces new processing strategies. A range of new data products is now available to better serve the community.

Data products from the previous pipeline (hereafter the Legacy pipeline) will continue to be produced through the end of this calendar year to support direct comparison.
