ILWS is an international organization to stimulate, strengthen, and coordinate space research to understand the governing processes of the connected Sun-Earth System as an integrated entity. Its upcoming plenary meeting will be held at the COSPAR General Assembly, this year at Fortezza da Basso, Florence, Italy.
Sunday, 2 August 2026, room Lorenese 3, 09:00 – 12:30 and room Spadolini lower 5, 15:00 – 16:30.
At this meeting, a number of ILWS members including CAS, CSA, DLR, INPE, ESA, JAXA and NASA will share an update of their current and future planned missions and/or supported ground-based capabilities. In the afternoon, a discussion with the international space weather coordination group for space weather research activities is planned.
