The Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) is one of the 7 payloads onboard Aditya-L1 mission — India’s first Solar and Heliospheric Observatory class mission to study the Sun. SUIT records full disk as well as region of interest observations of the Sun’s Photosphere and Chromosphere in the wavelength range of 200-400 nm, using 11 different science filters, mapping different heights. More information on SUIT can be obtained at https://suit.iucaa.in/
The SUIT team is pleased to announce that calibrated science ready level 1 data taken since June 2024 is now publicly available. The data can be downloaded from Indian Space Science Data Center (ISSDC) using the following website: https://pradan1.issdc.gov.in/al1/
The user needs to register, if not already registered on the above website, in order for ISRO to keep a statistic of the user database. The details of the data and its user manual can also be found for each of the payloads in this website, after logging in.
We invite the users to make use of the data for scientific studies for a successful science accomplishment from the SUIT payload onboard Aditya-L1 mission.
