We are pleased to announce the first Joint ISRO-ESA Heliophysics Workshop on Aditya-L1, Solar Orbiter, and Proba-3, taking place in January 19–23, 2026 in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), India.

This workshop between the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the European Space Agency (ESA) will bring together scientists working with data from the three missions to explore new scientific opportunities through joint analysis. The goal is to foster long-term collaboration and deepen our understanding of the Sun and its influence on the heliosphere.

The workshop will include invited presentations that highlight the main scientific themes of Aditya-L1, Solar Orbiter, and Proba-3. Expert data analysts from each mission will lead sessions on key data analysis techniques, providing a foundation for participants to collaboratively address specific scientific questions. Throughout the workshop, participants will work on previously identified problem statements, and preliminary findings will be presented during the final session, potentially paving way for future collaboration. A limited number of contributed talks and poster presentations are also encouraged, allowing attendees to share their scientific results based on data from the three missions.

The workshop is open to participants who meet any of the following criteria:
* Affiliated with an institution based in India or an ESA Member State
* Membership in the Aditya-L1, Solar Orbiter, or Proba-3 teams (from any country, regardless of institutional affiliation)
* Indian citizenship (regardless of institutional affiliation)

Important Dates:
* Abstract submission & registration deadline: 15 November 2025
* Workshop dates: 19-23 January 2026
