There will be a joint Japan Geoscience Union (JpGU) — American Geophysical Union (AGU) hybrid meeting over May 24 – 29, 2026 (Japan time).  This meeting will be in-person at Makuhari Messe in Chiba (near Tokyo), Japan, and will also be online.  For full details visit the meeting website at: https://www.jpgu.org/meeting_e2026/.

Two English-language sessions of direct interest to solar researchers are:

P-EM13: Space Weather and Space Climate (Ryuho Kataoka et al.)
P-EM15: Frontiers in Solar Physics: Observation, Modeling, and Long-term Research from the Past to the Future (Shin Toriumi et al.)

The final column is for the Session Language, with “[E]” and “[J]” indicating English and Japanese language, respectively.  Many of the sessions will be in English, and the main language of this JpGU-AGU Meeting is English.

Abstract submission opens on January 15, 2026, with an early-submission deadline of February 5, 2026,14:59 UT (9:59 AM EST), and a final deadline of February 17, 2025, 08:00 UT (effectively February 16 in the US).
