* Strong theoretical or computational skills
* Background in space plasma physics is an asset but not required
* Good / Excellent study track record
The doctoral studies will typically take four years. The employment contract will include a probationary period of six months. The appointee must apply for separately the study right at the University of Helsinki (www.helsinki.fi/en/research/doctoral-education/the-application-process-in-a-nutshell). The employment can be started before but the right must be achieved before the probationary period ends.
