SPD Student and Early Career Mixer at the SPD/AAS Meeting

Calling all early career scientists and those recruiting for job/postdoc/PhD openings coming to the SPD/AAS in Anchorage! The SPD Committee has been working hard on the SPD Student and Early Career Mixer that will take place at the Hilton Downtown Anchorage, Top of the World, Monday from 6:30 PM AK – 8:00 PM AK. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided. If you have a job opening or are recruiting for a PhD or postdoctoral program, please consider attending the event and getting to know the early career folks.

To SPD Members at all career levels: please plan to attend the SPD Members Business Meeting to learn about all the things that your professional society is working on, and ways that you can get involved. It will take place at the Dena’ina Civic & Convention Center, Ballroom C, Wednesday at 6:30 PM AK. In these rapidly changing times, it is especially important that we come together and have these important conversations.
