WISA workshops focus on recent progress in the observations, theory, and modelling of waves and instabilities in the solar atmosphere, and aim to provide a stimulating setting for lively discussion and close scientific exchange. Previous meetings have brought together around 80-100 participants, including senior researchers, early-career scientists, and students, in a collaborative and highly engaging atmosphere.
Continuing the strong tradition of the biennial WISA workshop series, we now invite proposals to host WISA 2027.
If you would like to host WISA 2027, please submit a single PDF (maximum 2 pages) including:
* Proposed location and venue
* Available conference facilities
* Preferred dates (ideally between June and September 2027)
* Estimated registration fee (with the aim of keeping the meeting affordable and accessible to a broad range of participants)
* Accommodation options
* Any additional relevant information supporting the proposal
Please send your proposal to: [email protected]
Deadline for submission: 30 July 2026
