This May the Wilcox Solar Observatory (WSO) will have completed 50 years of full-disk, low resolution magnetograms and 51 years of daily solar magnetic mean field observations!
To celebrate the occasion, we are planning a one-day symposium at Stanford University on Friday, May 15, 2026. There will be a dinner that evening and a tour of the observatory that afternoon or the following morning.
To facilitate planning, we would like to have an idea of how many people are interested in attending. Please send email to [email protected] indicating how likely you are to attend and if you would like to contribute a short presentation. Responses received by March 15 will be most helpful. Respondents will receive further information as it becomes available.
