We are excited to announce the upcoming SHINE 2026 Workshop in Madison, Wisconsin, from June 29 to July 2, 2026, with the Student Day on June 28, 2026. Please note that this year’s workshop will be a 4-day event with no free half day, concluding on Thursday, July 2, 2026. 

We kindly ask you to submit session proposals on the subject of your interest via the link . The deadline for session proposals is Friday February 6, 2026. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing  you in Wisconsin!

Important Dates
Abstract Submission Deadline: June 7, 2026 (submissions can be edited until the conference)
Student Funding Applications Due: February 6, 2026
Funding Award Notifications: February 13, 2026
Regular Registration ($650): February 15 – May 8, 2026  / Late Registration ($700): May 9 – June 7, 2026

No onsite registration will be offered.

Hotels: Please book hotel rooms early! Our secondary hotel partners have kindly offered complimentary hotel blocks; however, if these rooms are not being reserved, the hotels may release unbooked rooms.

Financial support is available for graduate students and early career scientists (PhD + 3 years) affiliated with academic/research institutions in the USA.
