The Frequency Agile Solar Radiotelescope (FASR) is a next-generation solar-dedicated radio observatory concept endorsed by the 2024-2033 Solar and Space Physics Decadal Survey as the highest-priority ground-based instrumentation under the Mid-scale Research Infrastructure (MSRI) Track 2 line ($20-100M). Designed to provide broadband, high-cadence, high-dynamic-range imaging spectroscopy across a wide frequency range from 0.2–20 GHz, FASR will enable transformative studies of the solar atmosphere, from the chromosphere to the corona.

We invite the heliophysics community to contribute scientific use cases that will help shape FASR’s observing capabilities, data products, and science priorities. We welcome ideas spanning the full breadth of solar radio science, including but not limited to:

* SWG1: Magnetic Reconnection & Particle Acceleration: Probing the physics of energy release and particle energization in solar flares and eruptive events.
* SWG2: Coronal Magnetography: Mapping coronal magnetic fields through radio diagnostics to understand field structure and evolution.
* SWG3: Coronal Heating and Solar Wind Acceleration: Exploring how magnetic energy is converted into heat and drives the outflow of the solar wind.
* SWG4: Drivers of Space Weather: Investigating how solar activity influences the heliosphere and impacts the near-Earth environment.
