Postdoctoral Research Positions in Heliospheric Plasma Modeling at KU Leuven

The Centre for Mathematical Plasma Astrophysics (CmPA) at KU Leuven invites applications for three postdoctoral positions in computational plasma physics, starting as early as spring 2025.

Research topics include kinetic (Particle-in-Cell) simulations of heliospheric plasmas, global MHD modeling of the solar corona, and model validation using observational data. Specific areas of interest include solar wind turbulence, collisionless shocks, particle acceleration, radio emission, and flux-rope evolution in the solar corona.
