Proba-3: First ASPIICS Data Workshop
26–28 November 2025
Astronomical Institute of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest, Romania

Join us for the first ASPIICS Data Workshop, dedicated to the groundbreaking Proba-3 mission – a dual-satellite formation flying system capable of simulating a total solar eclipse for up to six hours during its 20-hour orbit.
Since the start of its nominal science operations in early July 2025, the ASPIICS coronagraph has been delivering a rich stream of images across wide and narrow spectral passbands, including polarisation filters.

During this data workshop, scientists and engineers of the Proba-3/ASPIICS Science Center (https://www.sidc.be/proba-3) will:
* introduce the available ASPIICS data products
*present the calibration pipeline and associated calibration data
* provide hands-on guidance on using the Python software library that accompanies the data
Participation is free, but the registration is mandatory. Please register before 19 November 2025 on the workshop webpage:

You are welcome to join us at the Astronomical Institute of the Romanian Academy (https://www.astro.ro:8080/en/). Remote participation online will be possible too, but we encourage in-person participation for the ease of interaction.

Participation is free to everyone – we look forward to welcoming scientists, engineers, and data enthusiasts alike!
